It just took seconds for you to unlock it and start using. But the biggest thing about sex toys that often goes ignored is their regular maintenance, which is a must. Irrespective of the material with which the toys are made, cleaning them after every use is necessary, or otherwise, it would be sensitive to contaminants and will therefore infect the most sensitive areas of your body.

If you are using sex toys with or without motors made of glass, wood, silicone or stainless steel, make sure to use a damp cloth and a mild soap to keep them clean. For toys stone or Pyrex with or without motors, clean them in boiling water for not more than ten minutes. If you wish, you can also make them pass through dishwasher without taking help of soap.

Some even prefer using hot steam for the cleaning purpose. For cyberskins, warm water and a little soap will do. Washing too much in soap water might prove to be harmful. On the other hand, toys made of thermoplastic, jelly rubber, elastomer or hard plastic are highly prone to bacteria. So, these need to be washed thoroughly with soap and water. It would be best if condoms can be used in case of such toys. Once these toys are washed, they must be completely dried with a clean paper towel or a dry cloth. Once cleaned, it should then only be made ready for use.
